On February 14, 2007, the FDA recalled certain jars of Peter Pan and Great Value peanut butter; specifically those with product codes located on the lid of the jar beginning with the numbers "2111". These lots are manufactured by a single ConAgra facility in Georgia. Great Value peanut butter made by other manufacturers was not affected. The FDA recommends that any Peter Pan or Great Value peanut butter that was purchased after May 2006 be discarded.

Only two. Peter Pan, and Spartan. All the rest are OK and are still on the shelves. When I went to the grocery store yesterday I had to buy Jiff because Peter Pan STILL hasn't been put back yet. But, the funny thing is that both my husband and myself together ate about half of a large jar of Peter Pan from the "affected" batch, and neither of us got even the slightest bit ill. I took it back anyway, though.
