Now, first of all, I'm not speaking against Christianity. It's just, it makes me tremble when I see kids in camouflage with sticks, kids praising a cardboard cut out George Bush and smashing mugs with hammers (the mugs say government.)
It frightens me. These kids look like radicals.
I am a Christian and I'm also only 11. I've seen the videos and all I'm thinking is when I see the Pastor at that church, all I think is...
"DU WERDEST EINE KRANKENSCHWESTER BRAUCHEN!!"
The hold she has over these kids...it frightens me.
I believe in Christ, and I'm not denouncing him. It's just...the videos disturb me.

The German quotation is not calling her Hitler, it's just...illustrating a point. It kinda reminds me of Hitler on Family Guy when he has his own TV show with Cristian Slater.

--You are right to be disturbed!--I'ts impressive for a young person as yourself to discern this ugly type of manipulating!

--If you know any history of modern false leaders----ONE OF THE WORST ---was Jim Jones of the Peoples Temple. He got over 900 people to be murdered by forcing them to committ suicide in Jones Town. ---It was horrendous.

--NEVER SHOULD anyone put themselves under the control of anyone , UNLESS they are good parents //and good teachers in school, can be trusted to some degree- & to be listened to respectfully and non-hypocritical teachers of the Bible who teach the correct ways AND teachings of Jesus..

--ONE MAJOR sign to watch out for with TV personalities as that claim a christianity(it indeed is usually false)---IS IF THEY ask for money!

--NOTORIUS EXAMPLE Jim Baker who defrauded people of their money to such a degree that he would have air-conditioned dog houses for his animals & other bizaar things!

--Jesus gave us a warning that applies to modern day religious teacher, healers, etc.

(Matthew 7:21-23) “21 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22 Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23 And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness.”

--DID YOU NOTE they are called "workers of lawlessness"---They can be just as bad as drug trafficers etc. -----BECAUSE they are playing God as a hypocrite, by their actions.

CONTINUE TO BE CAREFUL!

They're just another form of a cult. It's about brainwashing kids and turning them into little soldiers for the cause... i.e. turning the U.S. into a Christian Fundamentalist theocracy and driving non-believers into hiding. They're no different than the radical Muslim schools that kids in the Middle East are sent to.

I went to a wonderful Christian camp as a child, which in no WAY resembled the one in that documentary.

I don't believe that what is happening in that ministry is really ministering to kids, as they are not speaking in a way that kids can understand. For instance, how do you teach young children about abortion when they probably don't totally understand SEX? It doesn't make sense.

I don't like it because they keep forcing them to hear about and deal with adult issues, and they always use adult language. I think it's a form of cultural control, and manipulation. They aren't taking care of kids, they are "making" adults that will grow up and vote the way they want them to.

I didn't see them crack a Bible ONCE in the whole thing... nor did they teach kids how to apply scripture to their lives. I mean really, talking to 5-12 year olds about abortion, the death penalty, and global warming?? How about defend kids getting teased at school? Be good to your siblings? Share your crayons?? :-P

...What "she" are you talking about? Who's got a hold over those kids? And there are a lot of disturbing videos in the world - do you *have* to watch that one, or any other one for that matter?... Ok, I don't really know - but is "kids smashing mugs with hammers" a generalized phenomenon now :)?...

Edit - after reading some of your answers - so the question did make sense. Ahm...

I put the documentary on my queue but I haven't gotten it yet because the 3 guys I love with put like every season of every TV show ever on the queue before I got to it. The real kicker? one of em moved to texas, one is going to jail today and the other one is going to jail at the end of the month- Now I have to watch 24 instead of Amores Perros and Babel.

Jesus Camps do completely terrify me... the brainwashing that takes place there... wow. To see these children speaking of being soldiers, it's as scary as seeing footage of Islamic youths talking that same way. There is no difference... both groups of youths have been brainwashed.

Its just more radical fundamentalist crap. Stay away from it and if you church promotes it, find another one that does not.

PS...If you are only 11 (and speak German)...you should know that you must be at least 13 to participate in Yahoo Answers. This is no place for a child.

I liked the part where "Jesus Camp Crazy Woman" talked about how Muslim children of fundamentalists were being raised to kill and die for their cause. And, you know, why aren't Christians doing the same?

And by like, I mean, umm... was disgusted by, yet couldn't resist laughing.

That Jesus Camp documentary was shot where I live. We in the community had no idea it was going on at the time, but we sure figured it out. Needless to say, they're not coming back this year with their freak show.
