I don't want us to get prideful here, but it is important to correct errors where they exist. Particularly, there is substantial misunderstanding and ignorance (whether willful or accidental) of The Catholic Church. Where we can correct and bring each other closer to unity in Christ without becoming prideful, we should do. Indeed, we have no room to boast, for this room for the working of the Holy Spirit.
I must also caution you, my brother in Christ and in the Church, not to boast excessively. Our Protestant bretheren are our brothers and sisters in Christ, who have received Scripture (as we have) but have rejected the Magisterium (as we have not), and so there is source for division. However, the source for unity is substantial, no less than our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. All who call upon Him and place their living faith in Him belong to Him, though we do not worship beneath the same roof.
Historical record, from sources both sacred (writings of Origen, Polycarp, and other disciples of the disciples) and profane (Roman documents, non-ecclesiastical writings, etc) relate that the Catholic Church is the ancient and original Church of Christ on earth.
When Luther attempted to reform the Church, it was the hardness of hearts of men (a constant among believers and nonbelievers, from even the most fervent peasant to the Popes themselves) that led to a politicization of the split, so that rumor and ignorance reigned among both camps. When these persons began to populate the U.S., they brought their prejudices with them, and Catholics and Protestants (reform and evangelical) have been at odds for centuries mostly because of this.
There is, however hope for unity in the Name of Christ. What unites us is far more substantial than what divides us. If you'll notice, those who seek division are often those least informed (appealing to conspiracy theories is generally a dead giveaway) and most vocal.
I should point out that the various apparitions, even at Guadalupe and Medijorge, are not taken to be universal revelations (as Scripture is) and so are not believed by all Catholics - we aren't required to believe them. But there are those of us who take these as messages of Mary, who is a servant of Heaven. These should be taken, at most, as gifts to us, and at least, not as sources of division.
May the love of Christ especially bless all who call upon His Sacred Name today.

Sacred Tradition existed before the Scriptures as we have them today. The Bible canon the Catholic assembled in the first-second century is a direct result of Sacred Tradition.
Protestants, in declaring sola scriptura, forsakened Sacred Tradition, thus, their teachings are not always accurate.
Guard against your pride. Catholics are not "favorites" simply because their Catholic. This is the mistake the Pharisees made in believing they were justified simply because they were sons of Abraham.
It's well to know that some Protestants are doing more good works with less Truth than many Catholics do with the Fullness of the Truth.
Shouting out is a great thing, but only if your message contains spiritually redeeming value. If you feel compelled to shout something to the nay sayers, shout an invitation to the Church.
Don't get me wrong. We should be glad that we're Catholics; so glad that we should want to share it with non-Catholics, in the hopes that they too embrace the faith.

Anyone who has seen me post knows I'm about as Roman Catholic as they come (albeit more liberal than Rome). I will most certainly give a shout out for Catholics, but I can't agree with most of your "question."
That part about being favorites of God... actually, that would be the Hebrew people, God's "Chosen People." Not only that, it's rather arrogant to make such a claim.
As for our Christian brothers & sisters, Martin Luther and the others of his time had some pretty valid complaints against the Catholic church. Many things that came out of the second Vatican Council are things Protestant denominations have been practicing for years.
Yes, if you want to say that Protestants "ignore" their roots (which I don't think is true), you could say that Catholics have centuries of tradition to fall back on. Tradition is good, but we all know it can be misleading.
Anyway, I will continue to do what I usually do - clear up confusion about Catholicism to the best of my abililty and answer questions when I feel like I have something to contribute.

I am very proud to be a part of the One, True, Apolstolic Church which Christ Himself founded.
The fact that Our Mother has made several appearances, isn't just for Catholics but the whole world. However it is the Catholics that have their ears, eyes open so we "get it" when Our Mother makes strong proclamations for God the Father and Her Son-- such as in Fatima, Lourdes, LaSalle.

I always got abuse when I was Catholic. Usually by people who were told lies by their Protestant Pastors. I was always asked questions - phrased more as condemnations of the faith - and most were surprised when they recieved an actual answer back.
I think Catholics should always stand up for their faith. And not allow others to pressure them, or get away with defaming their religion.
I wouldn't say that they are God's favorites. All, in Christianity, are God's children

There could be no 'fake witness' accusation for proclaiming what's interior the bible and judging others that would impression our own sanctification negatively, so as to stay away from them. we are no longer judging no count number in case you will pass to heaven or no longer - it somewhat is God's priveledge. we are judging (like removing a rotten apple from a barrel) that which might impression santification. stable human beings worshipping the church as against stable human beings worshipping Jesus. undesirable religious environments equivalent undesirable religious consequences. in case you dont have self assurance interior the Bible exceedingly what Paul stated concerning to definitely the necessity of a 5 fold ministry and, in case you dont worship interior a 5 fold ministry ecosystem the place Jesus is lord and not (as according to Paul) 'fake apostles' (or ought to we fairly say, guy-appointed apostles), then you definitely've an unsanctified religious ecosystem. If a guy can take the ten Commandments and altered them into 8, claiming priority over God, then you definitely've fake a pretend religious ecosystem. And, in the experience that your substantial chant in an historical language is a white magic spell, then you definitely have not extra excuses using fact of lack of expertise. How can a guy 'see' your spirit and forgive you by employing asking you to do specific issues including 2 hundred Hail Marys or in spite of? God imposes no longer something on you whilst He forgives you right this moment using fact of appropriate repentance purely he can see on your heart - why could you need to some thing it somewhat is such as writing 2 hundred and so on strains for college punishment? Its all falsehood. learn what's interior the bible as adverse to what's taught concerning to the bible - there could be no 'fake witness' accusation for proclaiming what's interior the bible. Alternately, grow to be a satanist and learn that what I even have stated is real for your self. The final option, and optimal one, is to ask God Himself like maximum human beings have performed and he will exhibit the untruths of devil and his dominion, inclusive of his many church homes (maximum mainstream 'Protestant' churchs), to you. The Puritans had to flee the Anglican as plenty using fact the Catholic Church.

We have been blessed with the fulness of truth which Christ gave to His Bride the Church. We pray that others come back to the fold. In the mean time we should love and respect those who have strayed by no fault of thier own for their love for the word of God.

They truly do not understand that we truly receive the body, blood, soul and Divinity of Jesus. This is the key to the misunderstandings. They wonder about our many Traditions and things but Scripture says "Those that have been given much, much is expected" We have been given everything! We have been given Jesus, -- The Lord.

Folks listen....
I speak the truth of scripture when I address you, or JW's, or Muslims.....etc....
There is so much heresy in the catholic church....are you so blind as not to see the rank idolatry?
You have access to the same scriptures that we do and can you not see for yourselves?
Edit:
Mary is not a spokesman for God.......
She was in the upper room on the day of pentecost as well with the disciples and received the same indwelling Holy Spirit as the rest of them.
But you don't see Peter or Thomas appearing to anyone do you? They are in the eternal kingdom with God.......

actually, the apostles didnt claim a religion at all... they just followed Jesus Christ.... religion is not what Christ was about... who persecuted Jesus? the religious... who demanded he be put to death? the religious... the zealots who believed that their religion was above reproach. It isnt about the religion, it is about the relationshipp with Christ and anyone who claims it isnt.... needs to seek Christ thru the Word to see what Jesus would have to say about it
