Just wondering if those intimate piercings have specially made rings for them and where they sell them? And how do you clean and change them?

Well there is no jewelry made specially for that. Usually you just have to look for a type of jewelry (CBR, curved barbell, circular barbell) and go from there to find styles that you like. Depending on the type of jewelry you get, removing it can be fairly easy.

With CBRs you have to pop the ball out, which is easier said than done. Usually a piercer can help you change jewelry for a low, low cost, so if you are worried about hurting yourself, opt for that.

With curved and circular barbells, you just have to unscrew one of the balls from the shaft.

Tips for removing jewelry; get latex gloves, they help you get a good grip on the jewelry. Always clean jewelry before you put it in and once you take it out. If at any point you have troubles, stop and have someone help you or see a piercer.

I suggest doing a Google search for body jewelry. Sites like bodyartforms.com and painfulpleasures.com have a good variety and there are others. I don't suggest buying from e-Bay because they have no regulation on the quality of the material, so even if they say its titanium or whatever doesn't mean it will be.

The usual jewelry is a captive bead ring, although curved barbells can be used as well. You can get CBRs in all kinds of different styles, some with dangly bits (although I wouldn't recomend them for everyday use, as they can get caught on way too many things and damage the tissue - but for special occaisions they should be fine as long as your're carefull)

CBRs - the bead pops out (sometimes easier said than done) if you have trouble or large ga rings you may need a pair of ring openers - failing that needle nose pliers with a bit of electrical tape around them will protect your jewelry

Curved barbells - the beads screw off on both ends.

either remove one piece completely and insert the new one, or butt the ends together and push one piece out with the other as you insert it.

Cleaning would be the same as normal (make sure you get good quality jewelry)

Make sure you've waited at least 6 weeks after initial piercing to let them heal enough!

As for where to buy, e-bay usually has some good deals, but make sure the quality is there. Your piercing studio may have some in stock that would be appropriate, or will most likely order them for you (I only keep a few of the fancier type jewelry in stock, but have a catalouge that people can order from, no extra charge)
