use the Hebrew text or the Harkavay orthodox Jewish edition-it is basically word for word the same as the king James version=the other ones are watered down-the reform produced in Philidelphia has its claim that we are the Messiah as Jews and worked hard to take out every reference and prophecy that pointed to Jesus.

yes this verse says that a young maiden and the form is Virgin-will have a sign/a miracle and bring forth one to be 'God with us'

for the word Almah never in scripture is it anything but a pure virgin who is a young maiden.
the Bethulah arguement is rediculous-Joel 1:8&9 Lament like a bethulah (translated a woman living as a 'vigin') for the husband of her youth.

a sign is a miracle-for a woman to concieve a baby naturally would not be a sign

only Yeshua(God is salvation) fulfills this to day =for he truely is God with us. Many names are attributed to Him-

i.e. the everlasting one-Micah 5:1&2 He shall come from everlasting and be born in Bethlehem.

Yes to building the 3rd temple-that is part of his promised bodily return-"When we shall see him whom we have pierced, we shall mourn as one mourneth for her only lost son." Zechariah 12:10

Jesus is my savior and best friend-the shalom peace and joy of my heart-My Messiah. and it is so wonderful too, God did not lie--

without the shedding of blood there is no atonement for sins-Moses Leviticus 17:11

Isaiah 53 "He will lay down his life as a lamb and make atonement for our sins."

IS NOT GOD WONDERFULL OUR MESSIAH COME TO EARTH TO HELP US AND BE OUR FRIEND-OTHERWISE GOD LIED -TOLD US TO HAVE A BLOOD SACRIFICE AND LET OUR TEMPLE BE TAKEN AWAY-Judaism today is Messianic-the rest rejected Moses and the blood atonement, the promised Messiah, and made up their own religion -with other ways not listed in the bible to get atonement for their souls.

pray for my Jewish people and all people-to see the light and our Messiah

The sign was the angel who spoke to her some say it was actually God himself telling her of the miracle

According to the Jews, he should also have done the following:
A. Build the Third Temple (Ezekiel 37:26-28).
B. Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6).
C. Usher in an era of world peace, and end all hatred, oppression, suffering and disease. As it says: "Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall man learn war anymore." (Isaiah 2:4)
D. Spread universal knowledge of the God of Israel, which will unite humanity as one. As it says: "God will be King over all the world -- on that day, God will be One and His Name will be One" (Zechariah 14:9).

He failed.

you are not jewish. don't claim us, you know that none of us claim you. there is no such thing as a jew who believes that jesus is the messiah. period. all your mistranslations and blasphemous ranting does not change that.

edit: i am removing the other comments posted here due to the fact that i just realized that your ignorance obviously comes from a lack of emotional sophistication and probably brainwashing started by some church with "evangelical" in their name. that is enough of a hell for anyone.

get well soon.

Actually Paul probably mistranslated a word meaning "young woman" for virgin, and to make his fable fulfill the earlier prophecy, came up with the virgin Mary story.

Does no one think critically?

There must have been a question in there somewhere, but it was very cleverly disguised at pontification.
