Medium size to big depends on the genetics. My yellow lab is 110 lbs. and the sweetest dog I have ever met. My black lab is 55 lbs and a total dominatrix and rules the yellows life. In general the labs and Golden's are about 20 to 24 inches tall and from 45 to 65 lbs. but as you can see some get bigger depends on mom and dad. So to know for sure look at the parents and don't buy from a puppy factory they will have health problems. Get the dog from a place where you can see the parents and see that they are healthy and what size they are.

We had a huge Labrador Retriever that was the size of a Rottweiler he was registered and a purebred, So they could be between medium and large size depending on the parents.

It depends what you mean by big.Labs and golden retrievers are considered medium/large dogs.some can weigh over 70 pounds and some weigh 50 pounds.

Most possibly a medium dog. I have a 1yr 2months old lab and she's medium size, weighs about 60 pounds and loves playing in water, fetch and running. these are incredible dogs, you'll have a BFF life!!!!!!!!

I THINK THAT IT WILL BE A GOOD SIZED DOG. LABS ARE PRETTY BIG AS IS. ADD THE GOLDEN RETRIEVER TO IT AND YOU MIGHT HAVE AN AVERAGE SIZED DOG.
