Why would it be original? These types of beliefs existed all over earth at all times throughout human history. That those who are righteous - follow the will of their Deities - will end up in paradise. And their enemies will suffer in a type of hell.

It was confirmed by Jesus Christ.

Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

But not this earth will be inherited by the righteous people. Because this earth will vanished away.

2Peter 3:7 but the heavens that now are, and the earth, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

No. Most religions (Many far older than Christianity) believe that there is a beautiful paradise that we go to after death.
In Greek mythology it was the Elysian fields, in Celtic, the apple isle (Or summerland). It's a universal theme.
