Ok well my boyfriend we have been dating for about 1 year and a half and whenever i come home a bit late he shouts and says stuff like Y R U SO LATE AND ILL SMACK YOU THE NEXT TIME YOU DO THAT and he calls me all these names , am i wasting time in the relationship?

Yes it sounds like it if he is threatining to smack you! Dont waste time on this jerk he doesent even love you he is probably using you so when you do things wrong he can use you as a punch bag dont waste time on this creep ! !

You are definately in an emotionally abusive relationship and it sounds like it may turn physical soon. You don't deserve that for being late. You shouldn't have to take that from someone that is suppose to be loving you. My suggestion would be to leave him and find someone that will appreciate and love you.

He has no right to talk to you that way. Do NOT allow it. Tell him so, and if he blows you off and acts meaner, walk out the door.
Trust me, the longer you put up with this crap, the worse he'll make you feel and it really stays with you. Leave that loser because he's such a controlling freak, he resorts to threats to keep you in check.

Leave now while you still can! I just got out of an abusive realtionship, and I now have several scars to remind me of the horror of his love. My ex was very jealous and kept me on a very short leash. If he can even fix his mouth to say that he will "smack" you, please believe he will fix his hand to do the same!!

Yes you are wasting your time and while it isn't physically abusive it is mentally and verbally abusive and looks like eventually it may get physical so get out while you can!!1

Oh god. PLEASE leave him. I was in a very abusive ( physical and emotional) marriage for three years. I was stupid and did not listen to anyone because I thought that's how it was supposed to be. Please Leave him. You are harming yourself by staying. I don't want you to have to call the battered women's shelter because he has beat the hell out of you, or because you're so depressed that you cant go outside your house. Leave now, before its too late.
