Infatuation is when you think you love someone or really like them, but don't hardly know them and have no basis for your feelings. Love grows after a long time of getting to know a person and everything about them. Love comes from commitment, mutual respect and shared experiences over a significant period of time.

Infatuations are like crushes - intense, yet short lived. You are infatuated with someone probably mostly for their outer appearance. When you love someone you connect with them at a much deeper level and accept them for who they are, flaws and everything, it's much harder to get over someone you love than someone you are infatuated with.

Love is a contentment you feel 24\7 with the other person. You can't wait to spend quality time with each other. Respect and being kind to each other is what you portray. Happiness is automatic and honest with each other. The only way you will know the difference is by spending the time and getting to know that special person and what they stand for. Good Luck! Cocoa
