Personal defense .9mm ammo is costs more and usually comes in box of twenty. Depends on what you need/want.

Most places sell a cheap ball (fmj) for around 10 dollars for 50 shells, but if you load your own you will save. I can load 100 shells using a hard cast 124 grain flat point as cheap as $4.50 and quality jacketed bullets for as little as $7.50 (depends what bullet you buy).

well prices can very due to taxes and where you buy your ammo but wolf makes the cheapest i personally dont shoot crappy ammo but most pistol ammo comes in 50 rounds special ammo like hydro shock comes in 20 rounds last box i bought cost me 17 dollars
