I just found out that my 13 yr. old was given alcohol on New Years. He was with his father and step mother. They also let his 12 yr. old step sister drink. My 13 yr. old told me that after he had two cups he drove his step mother to the store because she said she wanted him to drive because she was too intoxicated. CPS was contacted 2 years ago because they had been giving my 8 yr. old and the youngest was 2 yrs. old alcohol. But yet nothing is being done about it. I've contacted CPS again because my son should of never been given alcohol and should of never been given keys to drive.

I so agree with you!! His father should have been arrested immediately. Underage drinking is an epidemic now because parents just don't care anymore. Keep on pursuing the legal system, take notes, and record everything for proof.

i do no longer drink underage yet i think of the government ought to alter something the two the ingesting age or the age to circulate into the army using fact how come an 18 year old youngster can go into the army yet cant have a bear after he only watched somebody get shot? So i think of i might replace the age to 21 to have the skill to circulate into the army.

Why is your son with these people in the first place? You need to stop writing letters to CPS and take some physical action yourself.

You are correct..
This is intolerable..
Giving the 12 & 13 yr. old a glass of wine or beer
at home is not a problem but your situation is different.

I think you did the right thing. Call the police, non-emergency hotline, and talk to them about it. Make sure that your children don't go back over to their house until you have this whole thing straightened out. Even though he may be their father, it's best for them not to be around them until they stop giving them alcohol.

What is the question? It sounds like you are doing all that you can aside from keeping your children as far away from them as possible. You should also make it perfactly clear that if he is going to drink he can't see the children...talk to your lawyer ASAP. Good luck with this jerk & jerkier wife.

This is very serious. You should not allow your kids to spend time with them if they are going to continue with this behavior. How are you kids handling this? Try to tell them to say "no" when they are given alcohol. Good Luck.
