Me and this guy i liked went on a date to starbucks and when he brought me back home he walked me up to my door and i gave him a hug but he was sticking his butt out and he hugged me really gently he didnt squeeze me what kinda hug is that what does that mean?

It could be that he is a little shy or just wanted to be respectful of you. It could be that he is not into you, but then again it could be that that is just the way he hugs. I wouldn't read too much into it and just see how things progress from this point forward. Try not to worry too much and don't let it show, be positive and confident and see how your next date goes. He was sticking his butt out because he didn't want to awaken anything that might get up and rise between you two.That was a very respectful thing for him to do.A hug is a sign of affection and they are said to make people live longer,so hug away...

I would say he was either trying to respect you because it was the first date or he just wants to be friends...I guess youll know if he asks you out again...but if he gives you a side hug then you might as well face it...friendship is it for you two.
