My boyfriend and I have been dating for 9 months now the last two months we decided to be exclusive with only each other, since then he has invited me along with him where ever he went this past weekend he and his daughter were invited to a kids birthday party at his ex's house, he didn't want me to come he said it wouldn't be right for the children and not right the first time that he has been invited over there since he and I made it exclusive but the thing is that I have already met his ex and conversed with her a couple times and I have played with her kids, my boyfriend and her broke up over a year ago so it's not like they just recently ended things and that she doesn't know about me. And now he has said that he doesn't know if he wants to see me anymore because they way I acted when he left to go to the party the only way I acted was that I wasn't being real lovely to him I was treating him just like he was a guy friend.

Maybe he was expecting you to just trust him with is ex. He was telling you the truth and didn't try to give you a lame excuse like im not feeling good and then went to the party. There is a chance that the child didn't want you to be there?!?! who really knows you'd have to sit down with him and talk to him about it and then see if thats a relationship that you'd want to stay in? i dont think your boyfriend wants his ex. i almost think he didnt want you to come along because of the other children that would be there. personally, i dont really see why this would matter because you two have been going out for this long already. i think you behaved appropriately in acting the way you did because you deserve to be treated better. He should have changed his attitude.

Idk, maybe he's afraid of what everyone will say once they see you there or maybe he's not sure of what he wants. Ask him asap. He can't be playing with your feelings.
