i have no problem with your beliefs but i find it strange everytime i talk to a muslim and i tell them im an atheist they ask me if im also a communist why do they ask me that?

i live in chicago and mostly its like muslims from the middle east not american or european muslims the american and european ones are cool its the middle eastern ones that ask me this and they also call me kafir and infidel when they do i laugh

Umm not sure why anyone would come out and go "communist!" I'd think it to be strange also.
However in what context do they ask you the only time anyone (not just Muslims, but Christians also) would compare Atheism to Communism as you often see on R&S would be when someone asks the question, "what would the world be like without religion".
Then they compare Communism (Stalins massacre of people) to an Atheistic world. This communism promotes the abscence of religion within society or something like that.

I don't think you're a communist. This is actually the first time I've heard of a reference between Atheism and Communism.

they are very culturized and dont know what to say. I am middle eastren but i would never even think about asking u that. Its the culture that effects them
