Hi i'm currently using shikakai powder and the one i'm using seems to really natural because it has beads not totally powdered, but i don't think that it cleans my scalp well. Also before i wash my hair i oil it the night before and then put egg in my hair and then wash my hair. I notice that the oil stays in sometimes. Also i think i might have dandruff does shikakai help in hair fall and dandruff? Or is it better to use Nyle shampoo (the tulsi one) my friend told me that's a real good herbal shampoo. Someone please help!!!!

I have used both in the past, and none helped with dandruff. Only thing worked for me was Head n Shoulders. Plz use some conditioner after the shampoo. Revlon is good.

However, without these problems, I would recommend Shikakai powder..Being a natural product, doesn't harm hair at all.

Not foot powder. In the 70's there was a product made from mostly talc that was designed to temporarily "wash" hair in between shampoos. I used it on camping trips. The purpose was not to actually wash hair but to absorb the oil and make it less dirty feeling. The product was discontinued when people figured out they could use baby powder or talcum powder with the same result.

dont put no egg in ur hair just oil ur hair b4 u apply the shikakai powder
We use 1 tablespoon of shikakai powder and mix it up with about 3 cups of water until it is a thin paste (as opposed to a thick mud).

Apply the paste to your scalp and hair length - everywhere that you have applied coconut oil.

Just apply the paste and don't "massage" it in. It is very slightly abrasive so massaging it in would not be good for the hair shaft.
