Obviously Jesus didn't pay attention in AA. You can give up the spirits, but it's never done, you're always in recovery.

Dear Friend,
Your question is based on the false teaching of the Trinity, consider the following: The Father is God, the Son is Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is gods active force on the earth,
They are seperate beings, Many people will tell you that they exist as a trinity, but this is simply not true, consider the following scripture.
John 14:28"You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.
Also
Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know that they will die,
but the dead know nothing;
they have no further reward,
and even the memory of them is forgotten.
If the Trinity doctrine was true, then who resurrected Jesus when he was dead? and why did Jesus say the father is 'Greater that I'
Jesus was resurrected by God, who was alive all of the time.
I hope this answers your question
God Bless

Never. God stop exsisting. When Jesus said, "It is done", His job on the earth is done and he gave His soul.(Not ghost). Why did you say God stop exsisting? God still exists. Jesus gave up is soul, it is the truth, He died. But after 3 days, He revived. Why? Because He is the Son of God. He have the power to revived. He did all this for the love for us. When He is hung on the cross, He could just say a word and he will be free from the cross and the persons who insult Him can just drop dead. But He didn't because He love us can He want to fullfill the prophecies that HE IS the messiah. After Jesus gave up his soul, God still exisit.

He gave up the ghost he didn't disintegrate or obliterate the ghost. You should try comparing translations, King James is a classic but some of the vocabulary is out of date.

You have obviously studied this question before asking it didn't you? If you did, you must be aware of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost? Your answer is in this answer. Should you choose to accept it and believe you will be saved.

God didn't stop existing and He said, "It is finished." Which it that time in history, when a person had finished their jail time, the ordinance written against them had "It is finished" written across it showing that it had been paid in full.

no... Jesus said 'it is done' because it was the task at hand to be accomplished in the way it was. only the flesh died that day... not the Spirit of God.... God and Jesus are seperate yet one....

Read the whole story....when Jesus said, "It is finished," He wasn't referring to His existance, or His power. In fact, when "it" [His earthly life and ministry] was "finished", He went into the depths of hell, and triumphed over death, hell, and the grave! Whether you believe it or not, or accept it, or not.........Jesus lives!

No.
The "human" part of man expired. Jesus was raised from the dead, because death could not hold him.
It's because of that, that those who believe will also rise to new life in heaven.

Of course not. In fact, Jesus at that point went to all those who had died before to announce that the crucifiction had been accomplished, and that salvation was available to all. (1peter)
