First, it is mans church law that says a priest and a nun can't marry in the first place. The bible says otherwise, that it is not good that man should be alone and that a man and a woman should marry (regardless of title or position) if they burn in their bodies for one another. Secondly, if they are retired and no longer will cause a scandal in their church if the decided to get married, I don't see the issue. They should get married if that is something they want to do.

Why would they want to? It is a lifetime vow to their vocation. I am not sure there is such a thing as retirement. They are usually still active in the church.

Nope. Celibate for life.
Even if they retire from service, they are still priests and nuns.

No.
The voluntary vow of chastity taken by priests and nuns are for life.

It is my understanding that this could cause them to lose their pensions. They would have to completely leave the service of the church to be free to marry.
