i am 23, a guy, just curious if you think its hot for a guy to wear a necklace? if so, what is a hot one to get and where to get it? i wanna look hot this summer and curious if you think i should get one or is it stupid? ...oh and im not talking about the silver and gold necklaces, but like the others. ya know? .... i just got back from cancun and im tan now lol

I know what you're talking about and it's not really hot - it is appropriate to wear on the weekends when you're in shorts, no shirt and your body is tan! Now that's hot!

Well if you have a really good tan you could wear a necklace now im not a real big fan of neckleces on guys i think the chains that you dont want us to suggest is pretty on and you cvould wear some time or native looking necklace like thats made out of twine something like that i wouldnt go for anythign that has a really big charm on it that really wouldnt fly with most gurls but i personly think that just a simple chain would look really nice with your tan and i would go with silver gold is kinda takey if you ask me. hope i could be of some help to you.

Uh....everyone's saying it's gay but I think it's okay. I think you should go for a leather one, with maybe a neat little bead tied onto it. You can get a necklace anywhere. Some clothing stores like American Eagle, Hollister or any of the Urbans sell men's necklaces. Hemp necklaces are okay, but they make me think of surfers, and unless you're a surfer, it doesn't really make sense to me. If you can't find any necklaces you like, you can just get a piece of leather cord and tie it around your neck. It's kind of interesting. I think necklaces are cool when they have a significance, like your religion or something your mom gave you a long time ago. =P Wear what you like and what you're comfortable in. It doesn't really matter if you're tan or not.

If you are near a beach, then I think a necklace is fine. However, if you are in the middle of the US, then the necklace is a no-no. It just looks stupid. If you are near a beach, then puka shells are fine.

I think a guy looks hot with the twinned shell necklaces or a masculine beaded necklace!! you should be able to get them at any convenience store or your local jewelry or pawn shop!!

yes, gold and silver do look gay but you can go to American eagle outfitters and aeropostle the ones there are so HOT on a guy.

it really does depened on the type of necklace..you might want to try one of those seashell neclaces since your tan. that would be my best bet if you didnt want to just wear a plain gold or silver one

It doesn' t do anything for me. But then tattoos, body piercing and facial hair don't turn me on either. You do know that you can develop skin cancer from that tan don't you.

they can look really hot
go for something understated
small silver pendant on dark leather looks sweet on both tanned and pale skin
a couple of understated pieces together can look cool too
