Not much you can do, make sure that there is enough food available and maybe provide additional food stuffs.

Boiled egg and other soft foods are a good source of additional protein.

Nutrition for the parents is very important. All seed diets lead to malnutrition. Provide a good pellet food, 10% seed, 10-20% fruits and veggies (no avocado as you probably know). Chopped egg with the crumbled shell provides the extra nutrition.protein, calcium and nutrients for the parents and offspring and is easy to acquire. Fresh water is a must. If the parents refuse to feed this chick, it may have serious genetic defects. Let nature take its course because prolonging the inevitable also prolongs suffering.http://www.destinyink.com/spyral/animals/finch/ This article may help you. Have a great spring. Things will work out.

Sorry on your loss in case you are able to no longer get a Bengalese then try a Black headed nun or a White headed Nun, any Mannikin species will go properly with it ,in case you elect a Zebra then it must be a woman as male Zebras do no longer take kindly in case you chook is a male. you're starting to be to be difficulty in getting Nuns so a woman Zebra may well be your purely decision,

Buy some egg biscuit mix and provide with some fresh seeded grass. Also it helps to have cuttle fish for the production off the eggs. And it provides calcium good luck if outside aviary watch for ants as they came into my aviary and killed the chicks.
