I downloaded internet explorer 7 and it is in my add remove programs but its not in my program files or start menu - anyone know where i can go to find it or run it.

lol do you not do your home work? you should alway check out software before you install it including microsofts..
IE 7 has Problems security being the main one of them
download Fire FOX 2 from below it is the most secure web browser on the market (FREE)
read the read me files to set it up for the security dump IE any version

Try downloading it again. Maybe it didn't download right.
