If so how much does it hurt?? I have two, one on my lower back and one on my foot, and i was just wondering if its comparable to the others. If you could send pictures that would be awesome. I don't really know if it will look weird there!! Anything would be helpful!!

I have three on one thigh.. and am about to start a fairly big project on the other. None of them on that leg really hurt.. the one on the front /top of my right thigh was an intense experience cause of the needle pressure on the boney area.. and I'm not a small person.. I don't think any area on your thigh would hurt as much as the other locations you mentioned.

I have a large tattoo of a wolf on my upper thigh. It definitely hurt much less than the one on my ankle. I haven't seen alot of people with tattoos on their thighs. I like it because it is easy to hide or show off when you want. I also saw a girl with a dolphin on her upper thigh, and it looked really cute. If you arn't sure about having a tattoo on your thigh, you can always try a henna tatto there first to see if you like the placement.

I have a tattoo on my thigh. I have to tell you though, that one was my most painful. Maybe because of the detail, it is a turtle with a lot of scales. Each scale has a lot of shading in it. Good luck, don't be discouraged. I think thigh tats on women are pretty....hot.

i don't, but it will likely be my next tattoo. HOWEVER one of my very good friends does have one and she said it was one of her least painful ones and she is a HUGE tattoo baby. really, she cries and pouts and she said she did fine during hers. and it goes from her hip to about three inches above her knee. i don't have a picture of it but it is a beautiful peacock. i hope that helps.
also, i have a tattoo on top of my foot and it is doubtful that there are many tattoo places more painful than that... maybe the sternum which my husband has and he said it was horrible.
