You could simply look in a dictionary, but I need some points so here are some ways I would use it (hehehe):
It could be seen as an accomplishment, some type of completion, or implementation you know like carrying out, or finishing. Or it could mean something on the grounds of putting to death,
capital punishment, or a form of a death sentence.
