Good work, you are well on your way to become an atheist – if you aren’t one already. From the hatred against that fictional character one may eventually breed arguments against its existence.
If “God” is omnipotent, he must be omniscient, as he must have the ability to know all. Hence, such a god cannot be moral, regarding all the misery in the world. Even if God did not provoke the evil or it was not his intention to indirectly create it, then why does he not act to solve it? One who creates, but cannot maintain does not take his responsibility; that is literally the same as having children without knowing how to educate them.
Starjumper said: “God does not Invent. He Creates. And he gave specific instructions in his word how not to contact HIV. “
Answer: If God knows all about HIV, why doesn’t he rout it out? Besides if your “God” gave instructions about HIV, how come there are so many uneducated people in the 3rd world who get HIV, because they don’t even know what it is?
Mr Himself said: “Priests dont have sex so maybe god only likes them and not us normal people?”
Answer: Why would “God” have created the sexes, if he doesn’t want us to multiply?
Steve N said: “We bring it on ourselves through our sin nature. You are assuming that HIV is a bad thing but in fact it might be what you need to bring you to God and save your soul.”
Answer: Obviously you have no idea of the real suffering in the world. I mean the kind that doesn't get in the news.
Jeancommunicates said: “HIV came because man did what God told man not to do.”
Answer: That is no reason to punish an innocent, with HIV infected child; because one once has sex without a contraceptive, it doesn’t mean he or she deserves to die either.
Earth Angel said: “God tells us not to be sexually immoral and promiscuous. If people engage in homosexuality, have sex with animals, or just use sex as a sport, getting as much as they can (and outside of marriage) they are responsible for their sin, not God.”
Answer: Well, I would like you to explain how homosexuality can be immoral. Further sex out of marriage or as a sport cannot be immoral if both parties agreed upon it. However, if you think further, pleasure may be immoral, if instead one could have done a good deed – such as volunteering. Obviously you have a wrecked, old fashioned view of immorality. Your hatred against homosexuality points to unnecessary discrimination. Hence, you have sinned already.
Earth Angel said: “If the transportation authority put a sign up that said, "do not enter" or "road ends," but you don't listen and just keep driving, you can't blame them for "inventing" the cliff that you are about to drive over.”
Answer: Indeed, but an all powerful or potent god should at least lift a finger to aid. On the other hand, I have not heard God speaking. All I have is a past 2000 years old book written by people.
Earth Angel said: “A world where sin abounds, and all human beings have a sin nature. When they act on that sin nature, they bring harm to themselves and others.”
Answer: And the others who are innocent are harmed as well. Eventually the ones that cause harm may survive and the innocents may pass out. Is this your view of morality?
Earth Angel said: “If there is no God, there is no reason to think something is either good or bad.”
Answer:
1. Practicing morality out of fear is a bad practice
2. Morality can be derived from education. When a child behaves bad, he is being punished. Morality is fortunately independent of religion. You have proven to be immoral by hating homosexuality. I have not.
CONCLUSION
(a) Either “God” is immoral or (b) he doesn’t exist. I say it’s (b).
The times have changed; a new era has come where the atheist will arise and all religions will fade to darkness. It is only a matter of time.

God tests our faith daily. We need to understand that God gave us choices and freewill. Knowing this he doesn't stop us from doing wrong, but he gives us pushes in the right direction. It's up to us to take those pushes. God doesn't impose anything on us, we impose it on ourselves. The miracles that happen everyday. The love that one shares with a child, sibling, parent, or significant other, that is proof that God DOES EXIST. He is everywhere trying to get us to do the right thing. It is so easy for us to believe in God when everything is going our way. True Faith begins when you have doubts, promblems, difficulties, and worries. Faith gets you through the hard times and back into the better. God loves us all. And he loves you. Faith is easy to have and to get, it's the trust that's hard to obtain. God doesn't let us down. We let ourselves and others down.
With that said I hope you can find yourself and find a way through your pain. Look for God and he'll be there every step of the way.
God Bless!

Whatever the reason, it was not for human beings. In fact, God tells us not to be sexually immoral and promiscuous. If people engage in homosexuality, have sex with animals, or just use sex as a sport, getting as much as they can (and outside of marriage) they are responsible for their sin, not God. They harm one another. It is not God putting sickness on people. The Bible says that as a result of sexual immorality, people "received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion" (Romans 1:27). These people then pass it along, sinners that they are.
If the transportation authority put a sign up that said, "do not enter" or "road ends," but you don't listen and just keep driving, you can't blame them for "inventing" the cliff that you are about to drive over.
We live in a fallen world. A world where sin abounds, and all human beings have a sin nature. When they act on that sin nature, they bring harm to themselves and others. This is why Christ came. He brings forgiveness of sins, and works in us to make us holy. The promise of God is that one day there will be no more sin, when Christ returns, and therefore no HIV or any other bad thing.
We have to understand that this is not the best of all possible worlds, but it is the best way to the best of all possible worlds (Heaven). In the meantime, obey God, and whatever happens, He is on the side of the believer. That cannot be said for those who just quit and say He doesn't exist. It is the fact that He exists that makes us recognize the bad in the world. If there is no God, there is no reason to think something is either good or bad. It's all just "whatever" and tough luck for the unfortunate person with the adultous spouse.

Darwin, who believed in the Abrahamic god, observed these flies that laid eggs in a caterpillar, which caused the caterpillar to be eaten alive from the inside out and quite clearly said that he didn't think a good god would intentionally create such a thing.
There are three basic answers to your question outside the whole no-god view:
A good god would not, so god is not good. S/he may be evil, or just not care.
Gods and natural phenomena coexist and interact but gods don't cause natural phenomena (gods either start them or have nothing to do with them.)
God did it on purpose to punish people.
(The lowest transmission rates for sexual contact come from Lesbians. It is obvious in this case that god loves Lesbians more than all other people, which certainly supports the view that he is a straight, white, unmarried male.)

HIV came because man did what God told man not to do.
A curse, without a cause, does not come. If you know God, then the Lord can heal you. Oh you of little faith, nothing is impossible with God. Repent of all your sins and denounce all evil as far as cults, horoscopes, tarot cards, dragons, evil movies, etc. Repent for your ancestors for generational curses and now just maybe God will listen to your prayers. Keep praying God I believe, but help my unbelief. Praise His name daily even in your most frustrating moments. Keep in mind if man would do what God tells him to do, He would not put any of these diseases upon us.

The devil was always there - he was thrown out of heaven for being an evil angel.
God never, EVER wants to hurt us...He has given humans free will and He will never try to persuade us to do anything. It's our choice.

God didn't invent the devil...Lucifer invented him. The devil went about trying to destroy the works of God's hands and we see the results. We all have been given the freedom to choose who we will follow.

it might not seem fair, but is life fair... God didn't invent HIV, man did. God didnt' tell the spouse to have an affair etc... none of it would have happened if the spouse had remained faithful.. If life was fair, there wouldnt' be any problems and if man would get out of his own way,well...

Get real. Don't assume anything exists unless it can be proved.
Talk of god and the Devil is just medieval superstition.

God didn't make HIV. The World Health Organization did. It is part of a worldwide population control scheme intended to destroy most Africans as well as homosexuals. They want to repopulate Africa from Europe mostly.
