I know the problem well. We have a 17 week collie pup who was just like that. First of all try to be very calm around the pup. Don't shout or hit it That only gets them more excited and makes things worse. Teach it to SIT. Use a little dog food hold it in front of the pups nose and raise your hand . as the pup's nose follows the food it will sit. Then praise it the moment its bottom is on the ground and give it the food. Repeat this as often as you can until it really understands what you want. Then ask it to sit when ever it begins to jump and praise it when it does. Ask visitors to ignore it until its sitting and only then make a fuss of it.
The same with mounting ask it to sit.Ignore unwanted behaviour and praise it and give treats for doing the right thing. Its only a baby so be patient. It doesn't know its doing anythin wrong It just wants to play. But its not too young to start learning. If it persists in jumping and mounting Put it on ahouse line That is a light lead and then without speaking put it out of the room for alittle while until it calms down. Remember babies need a lot of rest and if they're over tired they don't know when to stop.
Good luck and enjoy the pup.

She is trying to be the top dog in the pack (you being the pack). It is very important to show her that you are the dominant one, not her. Move your leg away, grab the back of her neck (gently but firmly), pushing her into a sitting or down position, and firmly tell her "NO". If you don't show her that dominence each time she will never mind you properly. It has nothing "sexual" to do for her. Make sure you take her out on walks with a leash at least once a day, maintaining control while on the walk, make it like a job for her, since she is a lab she has a desire to work, and it also shows that you are the boss in a positive way. You could always enroll in a class, or look some basic training up on the internet.

at 11 weeks old, this is nothing to worry about, although it is very annoying. When my dalmation was that age it did loads of boystrous things, but it calmed down fairly quickly. Try giving the dog more to do, kongs are a saviour, fill them with treats and make them work for their food, after all they were origanally wild, and get things far easier now. Try hiding treats and making them hunt for them, in the summer try a bubble machine filled with chicken flavour bubbles (from pets at home), give the dog hide chews which are tough, keep them occupied and keep their teeth clean. Failing which ask the vet about it when they go for there booster or check up. It is not a big problem though, just something bouncy large breeds do hen there excited.

I guess the polite thing to do maybe suggest some kind of training, but you do need to let them know that the behavior is not cute and it is bothering you. If the problem is not corrected soon this could be an annoying habit the dog develops as it matures.

the dog is trying to show she is dominant, it has very little to do with sex. Everytime she does this, grab ahold of her scruff, tell her off and hold her on the ground , then when she is old enough get her spayed, and into some puppy classes. Humping is never ok.

Tell her NO firmly & lift her off.
Better yet, sign up for a puppy kindergarden with a local obedience trainer. This is dominance, not sex, and it's not a good thing to have her thinking she's your boss. That's a hard image to maintian if she's sitting & downing on your command.
