Unfortunately, most people will believe what they want to believe and therefore will go around looking for material that validates their beliefs and see it as the absolute truth.

They forget how decietfull and power hungry people get, who will say and write anything to gain more power, votes and followers. This is a fact which has been proven throughout the literal history of mankind and is even being put to use now.
Constanine used Jesus' status as a holyman and extorted him to gain followers and a high status of power. Bush is using the war on terror to gain votes to stay in power.

I refrain from totally believing anything I read...Bible or science book.

I prefer experience to be my guide - not belief.
