Has anyone actually had or seen a large, color tattoo removed by laser or by covering up with 'tatgoneink"? Any success stories? Or non-success stories? All serious answers are very, very welcome.

My hosemate had her tattoo removed with laser treatments. It wasn't all that large - about 3 inches across. It took a LOT of treatments (I think about 15, although her tattoo was particularly stubborn) and cost her over £1000. It was also painful. The end results are pretty good - the colour is basically all gone. However, the skin is very slightly pinker in the area where the tattoo was, and a bit uneven. In certain lights this appears as a sort of silhouette of the old tattoo.

Hope this helps!

i have known someone to get a small tattoo removed by laser, it was a very small polo horse (the brand) and she said it cost $1200 to remove. that is ridiculous!!

i have never heard of tattgone ink but i just went and read about it and... it sounds suspicious. it just seems like if something works THAT good then it would be readily available in lots of places and laser treatments would take a back seat since they are so expensive and painful.

i personally have had tattoos covered with other tattoos and have been completely happy with the results.
good luck with whatever you are trying to achieve.

A friend of mine had a rose tattooed on many years ago. As an adult she wanted
it removed and had it removed by laser. If I remember correctly there was a bit of
a scar but she said it was worth it.

I just started mine today, it hurts like hell, but it's worth it. Even if it wasn't 100% gone, I'm ok with that. You just have to approach it with reasonable expectations.

Tatgoneink is still questionable, but it's supposed to fade it enough to do a cover up.

I dated a guy who was in the late stages of removing a tat when I met him and it was a long pricey process and from what I seen, it won't be 100% gone.
