If a woman that you are friends with asks you out would you say yes even if you weren't attracted to her? Or would you say no right off the bat? And she isn't asking you out on a "friend date", she has told you she thinks you are hot. I've heard it is hard for guys to just say no.

To clarify-I'm not REAL good friends with him. We have never hung out just the two of us as friends, always with a group. Thanks for all the answers though.

What would be waiting for ya later? This is the situation...I don't know the guy real well but we hang in the same circle of friends a lot. Lots of flirting between us going on. He's 10 years younger than me and I think he's hot. So...I told him I thought he was hot and I asked him out and he said yes. He flirts a lot when we are around other people but he seems kinda nervous when it is just me and him talking.

I am just hoping that he said yes because he wanted to say yes. If the answer is really a no...I'm fine with that. I guess I'll just see what happens when we go out. No use in overanalyzing it!!!!

yes, I think it's hard for a man to say no , but the smart woman can understand what his yes means, if he accepts only for fun or for having a nice time , or to start a serious relationship or because he didn't want to say no noy to embbarace this woman,
follow your sense and feeling they will tell you the truth
have a good luck

Its not hard for guys to say no. Its impossible.
First you need to understand the dynamics of friendship. It is impossible to be friends with someone you are totally repulsed by. Unless there is some common ground - either at a conscious or sub-conscious level - people dont make friends. And however small the germ of that attraction is there is always a chance that it can be nurtured to grow.

He only asked you out. It is not as though he was proposing something more heavy duty. Go but do not read too much into it. If he is more serious then deal with that. But maybe you have struck gold.

I would say no right off the bat. No reason to trick her and later have to break her heart.

A guy wouldn't say yes unless he feels something for her.

Dating is a way to destroy a good friendship. Along with others may be o.k.

Only go out if you want to complicate the friendship, she's obviously looking for more.
