No, one of the greatest tricks religion pulled was coming up with this particular piece of circular logic. It neatly combines circular logic with the impossibility of disproving a negative.
It's a very elegant double-whammy, but it's still a load of rubbish.
Here's how it works: To even attempt to answer the question means that you have to postulate the existence of the devil. At the end of the circular thought-ring you STILL will have no answer but you will have ingrained the possible existence of the devil into those pathways. See how it works?
It's not devilishly fiendish, it's ecclesiastically fiendish.

If so, his success has been really limited since only 3% of us are atheists and disbelieve in the invisible warring super-beings and 97% do believe. If that the devil's best I'm not impressed.

He put fake fossils in the hills of Utah and Wyoming, and paleodontists are out there even as we speak digging furiously and muttering mumbles to each other.
Unless they repent they will all go to Hell.
The other thing he did was he sowed mayhem among the sophisticates of today's society, and mayhem begets mischief, and mischief begets -- hold on please, I've lost my train of thought...

yes! great question and you are right! when satan tempted christ in desert, did jesus deny his existence? NO!! IN FACT, JESUS KNEW THAT THE KINGDOMS on the earth belonged to satan! and the devil wants us to deny his exiistence and that of gods, so wee become spirtually BLIND! AS JESUS SAID HIMSELF: THE BLIND LEADING THE BLIND! how sad that will be!
