District overseer is not on the bible. what is in the bible is worker, servant. they should say it district worker or district servant.

Overseers are mentioned several times in the bible with regards to the early Christain congregation.

See Acts 20:28; 1 Tim. 3:1 & 2; 1 Pet 2:25 & Titus 1: 7.

District is used just to describe the extended of territory that the overseer is to look after and shepard as Paul did the early congregations. It takes a lot of work to organize three conventions every year world wide and for the same talks to be given and everything to be done in an orderly manner. There are also Circuit Overseer who visit and encourage the congregations in their circuit or territory.

Jehovah is a organized God and so we want everything to be done in an orderly manner.

Dear JC,

Please find something better to do with your time than to point out things that may or may not be in the bible. You keep asking questions about things that you know are now spelled out in the Bible. But why? What's the purpose?
Is the word Pope in the Bible? Is the word rapture in the Bible? Why would I ask those questions when I know they are not.

But if you ask one's who believe these things, I'm sure they will give you an answer as to why its relevant to their beliefs.

No one spoke English in the bibles. Silly.

Church isn't in the bible, either.

You Abrahamicists with all your trying to be better than the others...can't you see you're all the same?

It ain't there, JC. Neither is Bishop or Pope for that matter.
