We all say that Lord has the greatest power and he can do anything without physically moving Himself. Then why can’t He just sit at His abode, destroy all the enemies and sinners and establish law and peace on the earth. What is the need for Him to come to Mrityu-Lok?
This was the very question Lord asked to all the Devatas, when He was conducting His Rajyasabha oneday. None of the Devatas, were able to answer the question so Lord revealed the answer Himself.
He said, after thousands of years of worship and prayer by the devotees, sometimes deep in their heart, they start attaching their daily lives with the God and some mother sub-consciously thinks in her mind what if God was born as my son, or someone sub-consciously thinks what if God was my Mitra or Friend, or someone would think what if God was my Husband or Lover or Teacher. When these desires becomes very intense God has to descend down to earth to respect the feelings of his followers. This is only possible if the Lord Himself manifest in the form of human. There is no way for the God sitting at this abode and fulfilling wishes of His followers.
That is why Lord has to manifest.

Because He has the power.
When even we can get manifested in our body forms by His grace, why on earth He should not do it to Himself?
What is the cause for manifestation is some thing only He will know. What is the cause of our manifestations is also known by Him only.

To inspire faith, hope, patience and compassion amongst humans, to remind them of the power of their choices, and their consequences thereafter. But the gap seems too long, which is why perhaps mankind keeps forgetting all this and starts making the wrong choices forgetting that ther is a silent system of justice which will get u sooner o later
