Why do we sneeze so much when we have colds?

I have a cold right now and I took some medicine, but I still sneeze like crazy. Just wondering what's up with the sneezing attacks? I am not a big sneezer to begin with, sick or not...

Your immune system is low and sneezing helps to get rid of the junk in your system.

You sneeze to get the mocos out ... try blowing your nose - beat your body to it. Don't sniffle in - that defeats the purpose.
