I would think that non-believers would answer other yahoo questions instead of the religious ones.

Its all good for us though, Spiritual growth. Some of them do have good questions.... roll with it, it is our duties to answer some of these questions. Some of them that we don't know, we can look up in the scripture... it's all good for our spiritual growth...

Well, to exclude "non-believers" as you Christian centric-ally put it, out of the debate of the merits of religious discussion only shows that you really do not want to have a discussion at all. I would suspect that you only would like other people to pat you on the back and say "Hey, I agree with you, good Christian fellow". If that is the case I would suggest that you limit your quest for knowledge to your local Church and forgo the open discussion on the Internet. To directly answer your question, "Non-Believers" do in fact enjoy religious discussion since they have taken time to question their beliefs and have probably had practice in open discussion about the merits of religion. "Believers" (while not all) tend to believe and nothing else, giving the thought of religion less time than "Non-believers" do. If you would like more information on how "Non-believers" come to their conclusions, I recommend Richard Dawkins "The God Delusion" It is a book that is less than 2000-3000 years old.

Because everyone likes a good debate. They especially like being right. So if anyone for that matter has a chance to prove something right, then they'll do whatever they can to obtain it. Relgion and spirituality is not just for christians its for everyone regardless of what religion they actually are or are not. It's their right too. I'm a former Christian and this is my favorite section to come to because it's cool to see different perspectives and it helps me understand others. No harm in that.

Why are so many Christians so narrow minded if not just plain ignorant that they do not understand that a person can be a NON CHRISTIAN and still be religious or spiritual, they just have different beliefs. Christianity is not the ONLY religion and the name of the forum is not Christians only.

This is an open forum and anybody can answer pretty much any question they feel like answering. Besides Christians always answer questions directed towards other religions and non religions as well. What goes around comes back around.

Sorry, apparently we didn't realize the section was titled "Christianity & Spirituality". Oh, wait, it isn't! Guess that means we can stay. Besides, my major in college was Religious Studies, so that gives me some knowledge to spread around!

Im a believer, but I, too, like to voice my opionions. It has NOTHING to do with my "beliefs" or "choices" or anything else! Its just ME!! So maybe these "non-believers" (as you call them) are just being themselves too! Ya think?? I personally enjoy reading EVERYONES comments. I believe it helps me grow as a person and learn more about everything and everyone around me. Im a believer of knowledge! LOVE information! So for me....keep it comin! Believer or not!!

who are you, or any other so-called christian to judge another human? only god can do that! the prejudice the fundamentalist christians exhibit towards muslims and others is unreal! listen! did you know that the earth is populate with over 67% people of non-cchristian beliefs? does god throw them all! in hell? christ never, fool, taught that! he was about acceptance, love, and healing! the ministers of today are so busy commercializing the name of JESUS, THAT HE CHRISTIANS HAVE GOTTEN THEIR FOCUS IN THE WRONG AREAS! they spend time telling others what to believe, and not enough time helping the homeless and sick, like christ, in fact did! and also, this nation is based on free speech!

Because we know a lot about Christianity and other religions.

More than many religious people.

That is why we are non-Christians.

Oh and i addressed this earlier.

Muslims are non-Christians,
Jews are non-Christians,
Buddhists are non-Christians,
Pagans are non-Christians.

Christians do not have a monopoly on religion.
