I want to show my friends my photoshop project by email. But none of them have photoshop.

Click Layer. Then select Flatten image.
When it asks for file format, pick jpg.
Are you sure you know how to use Photoshop? An basic level user would know how to that!

Open the file in Photoshop and using "Save As", save it as a JPG.

Open in in photoshop or any of the tonnage of free image managers that read .PSD files and save it as a jpg or whatever you want. If you need a free image manager go to http://www.freewarefiles.com

Just do a "Save As" In the save box choose file type as jpg

depending on your version (6 and above)
goto FILE>save for web... and select the quality of the compression (lower more pixelated/worse image quality), make sure you select jpeg in the right hand side drop down.
alternatively in lower versions(or 6 and above) goto FILE>save as... and in the bottom drop down select *.jpg

In order to transfer the type of file, you can right click and choose edit which shall open it in paint wher you can choose save as and save it as any type of file you choose. =D

open the file with paint and save it as a jpeg.
or open it with fireworks.
if it doesnt open with fireworks, then copy and paste and then save as a jpeg.
its not rocket science.lol.

"save as" then, choose "save file as"....JPEG/JPG.
