If your trying to grow your hair and it seems to be growing slow, get it trimmed every six weeks and that will help. Also prenatal vitamins makes hair grow pretty fast but never expect too much cause it's only natural for the growth to be a fairly slow process!

This is an interesting question. Although I have a phyisics PhD., I'm not a doctor of medicine, but I do have a salient answer for you. Hair can actually grow at enormously different rates from one individual to another, and I do have a friend who is a pathologist, (not something I'd particularly want to do), who assures me that in certain people, hair, (and fingernails and toenails, all being the same protein, (keratin), can continue to grow at up to five times the rate for three or four days after death. Interesting, but rather spooky don't you think ?

straight hair doesnt grow faster than curly it is an illusion that it does and ur hair will grow about 1/2 an inch per month depending on your hairs growth cycle but you hair will grow for at least a year and a half before reaching a resting stage and falling out but could grow for up to 7 years if it does then you'll end up with long hair but if your hair has a short life cycle then it wont no matter wat vitamins u take

Facial hair on men usually grows about a half mm a day.
Eye brows and eyelashes have a different growing cycle they grow much slower.
Cutting a hair has no bearing on how fast it will grow.
If all the hair on your body was channeled into one hair it would grow about 60 feet a day.
You wouldn't need clippers to handle it.

The maximum growth rate for hair is about 6 inches (15 cm) per year. If you have short hair and are thinking, "It sure would be nice if I had hair down to my waist," then you are going to have about a four-year wait!!!!!!
