So far it is known in the medical science; there is NO BENEFIT of making any bruise whether dry or 'wet' on the body in any part.
However, if anyone feels pleasure of bruising any part of the body for any reason that is his/her personal matter and definitely, it is not usual.

do you mean exfoliating???
if so than it is healthy because it gets the dead skin off, and helps to rejuvenate because it allows the new healthy skin to grow in it's place without obstruction. It makes you "glow".
