if losing some pounds of any description and inches is what you want then I would suggest you use a diet that is all natural and is rich in protein and vitamins, which is what the FDA recommends. I used a protein based diet after a friend who had lost a lot of weight with this recommended it to me. All the way through you feel great and energized, you also get great coaching and support along the way. The people are very friendly and gave me lots of great advice. I needed to lose 40 pounds and I did so with no problems. The products really work and you feel great whilst losing weight. I lost all my weight in less than four months and they have helped me to keep it off. I would definitely recommend using them. My sister did this also and lost 76 pounds in five months (She works out, I don’t). There is no pressure and they will even send you a load of free samples so you can try before you buy. The samples were the thing that initially convinced me that this was the right diet for me. You also a get a free complete health consultation with the samples, I think I just paid the postage, but for what I got it was well worth it. You have to go to www.myhealthabc.com to register your details to get the free samples and the free advice etc and then they just call you up and ask you a few questions. It was so easy. Their main site is www.myhealthabcmall.com and you can see all the products and packages and order from their. Its nice to have contact with real people who care about you losing weight and improving your health. I am in better health now than I have ever been thanks to these products and I know that I will continue to keep the weight off with the help I have received. I hope this helps.

Sounds like you are definitely on the right track. Check the ingredients on the food that you are eating, if it has high fructose corn syrup in it, throw it out or donate it. Also, no hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils. Have you tried cleansing your organs that help you eliminate waste(liver, kidney, bladder, colon)? This will help your body eliminate waste more efficiently. I lost weight just by cleansing alone with minimal exercise. Drinking 64 oz of water throughout the day will help you flush out toxins and waste and will help you feel full. Go to this site, it has informative articles about the foods we eat and how they affect our body. Be sure that you keep to your new eating plan because you work so hard to remove that weight, you don't want to put it back on. Be proud of yourself for coming so far, you should expect to lose between 1.5 to 2.5 pounds per week. Good exercises for your stomach are sit ups, crunches, windmills, laying on your back and doing bicycle exercises, and taking a hand held barbell in each hand, drop it to your side, stand straight up and bend from side to side. The more weight in each barbell will provide better resistance and will develop more muscle and will burn more calories than fat. Weight on your chest while doing crunches is very effective. Hope this helps, good luck and keep up the good work. Remember, you didn't put on all that weight overnight, don't expect it to all come off overnight.

congrats!
You could loose the extra 40 lbs in 4-6 months if you work hard. You have a treadmill so use it daily. You need to do 45-60 minutes of cardio 5-6 days a week. Work up to walking at 4.0 speed on the treadmill. Trying running or jogging some too. If you can't do it for long that's fine...I can't do it for more than a couple of minutes at a time myself. Other days walk at 4.0 speed and 0% incline for 1 minute, then go to max incline for another minute. Repeat this for at least 30 minutes!
If you get tired of the treadmill pick up Leslie Sansome tapes. Walk off the pounds. They WORK! Get the 3 mile tape at least.

Wonderful! I love this subject as I research it often. You should be proud of yourself. First you should consider changing your diet again. I know this soulds stupid if your current diet is working, but change keeps the body and mind razor sharp.
Consuming 3,000 - 5,000 calories per day spread between 5-6 meals is better for you then 1,500 calories in 2 meals. Never eat within 2 hours of bedtime. Your body burns upto 3 times more calories first thing in the morning when you wake up.
Your body wil also continue to burn calories for up to one full hour after you are done exercising.
You say it is mostly in your belly area where the wait you want tolose is at. Try this; first thing in the morning when you wake, you should stretch to losen your muscles and joints then begin a steady shock workout.
This will consit of you doing 5, 10, 15, or 20 situps and immediately standing and doing a form of cardio such as the tredmill at a pace you can only handle for about 2 minutes. You want to be near exhuastion. Get back on the floor and do your sit ups. Stand and stretch for the sky arching the back and reaching left to right for the sky stretching your abs. Now hit the cardio again.
There are numerous ways of doing this, but it is targeting the mid-section. A wonderful fat burning system is "Gorila Cardio" This is where you warm up with your favorite cardio for a few minutes then just go all out full speed for 20 - 30 second then back to regular speed for 20 - 30 seconds then back to full speed. You will do this back and forth for several minutes. You may adjust the time to suit your capabilities. doing this first thing in the morning will melt the pounds away.
Be sure to include plenty of fresh fruits and vegies into your diet.

The secret is acknowledging the true purpose of food as fuel rather than entertainment. Focus on protein, fats, and carbohydrates and learn about each of them. A little bit of research online will teach you a lot. Remember, don't diet; change your eating lifestyle. Doing so will change your life for the better. For the exercise, consider it a priority to include it into your routine.
Anyway, if you want it simple, here it is in ten steps:
1. protein is good...eat plenty (about 30% of your caloric intake)
2. fats are good and bad...know the difference
3. saturated and trans fats are the bad ones - limit these
4. poly- and mono-unsaturated fats are good - don't be afraid of them
5. carbohydrates are good and bad...know the difference
6. fibers and complex carbs are the good ones - eat these (about 40% of your caloric intake)
7. sugars and simple carbs are the bad ones - limit these, particularly late in the day (stay away from sodas and chips!)
8. drink water - lots and lots and lots of water. It's the only drink you need. Anything else is either wasted or simply bad for you
9. Eat 4-6 "meals" a day to boost your metabolism.
10. A meal is defined as a portion of a low-fat, protein rich entree, a portion of veggies for vits/mins, and a portion of complex carbs. (You can get these combined as a health shake)
For exercise, it's even simpler:
1. 4-6 hours per week
2. 45-90 min each day you exercise
3. do aerobic exercise (20-40 min) every day you exercise
4. work abdominals every day you exercise (between sets makes it easy)
5. do chest and triceps exercises on one day
6. do back and biceps exercises on a different day
7. do legs and shoulder exercises on a different day
8. do your exercises in sets (i.e. 3 times with 6-12 repetitions each)
9. keep a record of what you do to measure progress.
10. when your progress stalls (called "plateau"), switch up your routine.

http://sparkpeople.com is a great site for setting goals, and motivation (there are message boards with lots of encouraging people!)
set little goals... like 5% of your body weight, or perhaps just aim for 5 lbs. then after you lose that, aim to lose the next 5. if you look at it in little numbers, it won't seem as overwhelming.
if you start to plateau in your weight loss, try changing up your exercise routine, to jump start losing again.
be sure to keep drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day!
i wish you the best! congrats on your success thus far!

You just need to make a conscious decisiion that you are changing your lifestyle FOREVER. You should be losing 1-2 pounds a week if YOU really want to make sure you keep it off.
You need to ask slim people what they do to STAY slim not ask overweight people or dieters how to lose. I stay slim by eating small frequent meals. I eat 5-7 times per day.

The only incentive now would be to purchase something in your next size down, and pay a little more than you intended.
THAT's motivation!
Congratulations and keep up the good work.
