hi laurie,
well your not completely nuts. you are only 7 years apart, so dont freak out. If you havent told him about his "issues" then how do you know if he not willing to work with you. Now, telling him that he is a little imature is not a good thing so you might want to leave that part out. Just my opinion but that baby talk thing must go. that is such a nogo for guys. lol. If you plan on getting serious with this guy one day then he deserves that respect as well as you to know what each other is feeling and what eachother does that bothers one another. You just need to be straight forward with him. Ask him why he does these things. If must, do what women do best, and make him feel like it is your fault and ask him what you could do to make it so he wouldnt have to use his towels and his sheets. I really dont think that a man wanting to use his own towels and own sheets is such a bad gig, I say that if a man wants to dry is *** with his own towel then that is better off for you. There defently could be alot worst things wrong with a guy then that. I say just tell him that the baby talk bothers you and you can work on the maturity facor together, other then that hang in there, it isnt easy to find a good guy that is willing to put up with your baggage. Well, Good luck and he should repect you for being honest with him.
PS. pls tell me he doesnt baby talk during the monkey dance :D. LOL

The little quirks are probably because he's not used to doing those things anywhere else but @ his house, and returning to sleep in his own bed, etc. Something attracted you to hin in the first place, so why not build on that? Regardless if he's 24 or 44, there will be something that annoys you a little about him. Enjoy that he's spending money on you. Who else better than you? Because he's still there, he apparently likes you, as well. Relax, and enjoy what you have going on here.

Its not really that big of an age gap ive dated guys within the same age gap
Just try to be paitent remember what you were like at that age make subtle hints/jokes towards his immature side
Tell him your not really comfortable which him spending money on you but your very thankful for the gesture see what he says
When it comes down to it though if hes a great guy hold onto him there arent many left in the world and no ones perfect

that is a big differenct, patients? yeah about 6 years worth. He great with the kids cause well, he an't much older than them. Wierd phobias, everybody has one, he just has a few, I wouldn't worry about that.
If he wants to spend money on you let him, have fun. BUT
I wouldn't bring him around your kids, why? because kids get too attached and sooner or later if things don't work out, they are going to get hurt.
Personally, if he were my bf I would have him for fun but nothing serious.

I am not a big fan of older women-younger men because eventually no matter how long you stay together you will start looking "older" and don't get me wrong, there are a lot of older beautiful women who take care of themselves but there will always be a chance that he may change his mind and want a younger woman once he matures, and where will you be left?? Looking for someone else to start over with. Think twice before you give it your all.

If you are happy regardless of all the little things that bother you, then what is the problem? I'm positive he will grow out of that young phase. Everyone has weird phobias though.
