Last night I stood on the phone till 1am (I havent done that since high school) with a guy "Roy" (this guy is my dads best friends nephew) my dad hooked me up on a date with. We went to the "Steve Miller Band" concert and after went to the bar. We hit it off crazy (kinda scary) And the last couple of days I havent been able too get him out of my head. I havent seen him because he lives 40 mins from me and I wouldnt mind the drive, but his ex is moving all of her stuffs whats left. There relationship has been over for some months now. But before Saturday night I was talking to another man not serious but we have been dating for a while since Oct. We get a long in everyway but I'm not really attractive to him as I am with Roy. And I told the other man I need to end this before I get too far in with Roy and if I wouldnt want too be hurt I would never do it to someone else..
I have known Roy for 5 or more years but the most we had talked before Saturday was "Hi, how are you?"

Can you get past Roy and continue with the 33 year old? If not, Roy is the answer.
Rebound or not, you'll never truly know until you try. Besides, you're only 21, chances are neither of these guys will be in your life when you're 31. So what are you worried about? Step up to the plate!

I understand where you are coming from. It sounds like you are fond of both men. Attraction is important but in the long run being attracted to the other person is not what makes a relationship. It is the emotional connection. Maybe you can explore things with Roy and still continue to date this other man. Or tell the other man you need to "take a break" and try to see how things go with Roy. You need to decide what is most important to you. 40 minutes away is not that bad. Good luck!

you still don't love, you only need some care and share, although you are 21 you are still very young, and having a serious relationship needs more understanding and more concentration.
give yourself a break my friend and take all the guys out of your mind for a while , then you will find what you are looking for.

baby girl, it's obvious that you want to pick roy. and yes, it sounds like a rebound. what you need is time. time for you to discover yourself. and time for roy to get over his newly broken relationship. i'm not saying that you need to break if off with your current bf. but you need time for yourself. enjoy being single for a while. you'll discover who you want and what you want.
