We often stare at each other for a long time, he never looks away himself, I am always the first to look away.
He has a very corny and sweet smile that he often shines on me..
I said something to him about how I'd love to meet his parents (in jest, not very seriously or anything!)... next thing I know when I go for exams, his parents greet me each time..
He wrote me a very sweet note when I asked him to write something during the Grade 12 farewell party...
He wasn't shy when I asked him if I could pose in a photo with him... even though 6 times different people failed to take the picture successfully... I mean, he was so patient! After that, he was, 'Happy now?' And not even annoyed while saying it.
I really really want to date him! He really respects me a human being. I know him more as a classmate than a close friend, and school is almost over, but I feel with the right tricks I could spend more time with him.

Ask him out for something casual and get to know him. Don't do anything heavy. Go out for ice cream or coffee or whatever floats your boat.
Short from going straight up and asking him, this is the only way to do something about it.

Send him little messages that are sending him hints that you like him. Ask him to go to the movies then go to a fast food restaurant and open up to an intimate talk. Flirt with him a little more and show him a good time. Grab him by his arm and walk side-by-side with him. Make him smile. And at the end of the day say something like " This is one of the best days of my life we watched a movie, we ate and we had fun, Now i don't want to leave you and go home, maybe one day we'll do this again". At the end of the day make him feel like he cant leave you. Try as hard as you can to try to make the level of REAL connection! I hope you meet it. GOOD LUCK!
