I have been trying to get back with an Ex. We had a great relationship. We took some time apart I guess.. and I just told " I loved you" because of the fact that I realized that I do love him. How to guys take that?? Do they like it when a women tell them? I need men to answer this question... ty

If they love you back they are thrilled with you saying that. If however they don't happen to feel the same way you have just done the equivalent of throwing holy water on the devil.

I think people stress to much over the "right" time to say i love you. I think that if you do then just say it there's nothing to lose and everything to gain. If it isn't returned then you can just move on and if it is hallelujah at least now you know and the relationship can grow from there. Hope this helps.

First off, lady you need better grammar. Secondly, you know.. you should just jump on him and make out with him, if that doesnt get him to realize you still love him, then screw him. Im available =D
Men feel impowered when you tell them that you love them. They feel over confident, as I always do =D. But I think that you should just get over him, because why waste your time on someone who doesn't love you? This isn't a movie, sweetie.

I don't like it when a woman tells me that. It usually means she wants a committment from me and if I haven't said "I love you" to her, I'm not ready for any committment.
It's usually a breaking point in a relationship of that sort for me.
In your case, it makes you sound desperate as he is an "ex". It sounds like you've exhausted resources for winning him back and are hoping a vow of love will win him over. It won't.

I think it all depends on how he feels about you. I know with my girlfriend when we told each other it was a huge relief to know we both felt the same way. But I can guarantee if he doesn't love you , it will scare the hell out of him if you say it.

i know that i am not a men but last month i told a boy how is my friend that i love him and he didn't react but the second day decide to hurt me and every day he never talk to me at the same way. don't u ever think to tell him. enjoy talking to him and don't be selfish or u will loose every thing.

If we men do like a particular woman, you telling us that you love us instead of us having to tell you is to me, personally, a great relief.

I guess that all depends on how he feels about you - if he's not interested in things getting serious again that would probably be a total turn off for him.

well i may be differint from your ex but i would expect that if you liked me and than broke up with me 4 a wile that i would expect ecleast a little time to think it over and becauls i may think that you didnt mean it so keep telling him you like him and maby bye something 4 him

I like to hear a woman say "I love you" to me. It lets me know that I'm valued. I'll also say that to her if I really feel it and not just because she said it first.
