the light is blinking on the remote when I push the button, but nothing happens. I've even replaced the battery.

they will need to be reprogramed which will have to be done at the dealership using the hyundai scantool. they just drop out every now and then for no reason. if it becomes more frequent it will need a new remote which will be covered under warranty.

Easiest is to go to the dealer. They can take the number of the remote and order you a new one. If that's the problem. You may also be able to order one, on your own, from a web site (do a Google search for "Hyundai parts"). The price difference won't be much, so walking into the parts department of your local dealer is still going to be easier.

It's most likely the receiver in your car, so get it fixed at the dealers. you can find the instructions to reprogramming it yourself on google, but I think it's incredibly hard. I tried it, didnt't work. If replacement is required, buying the part somewhere else is cheaper than buying it in any dealers. Maybe ebay..
