You have received great answers, I can only say that it would be wise to take a little from each one, they were all right on time.

I also feel, that by you being supportive, encouraging him, thanking him for being there for you and family, telling and showing him that you love him, and appreciate all that he does.

Tell him that there is a better job waiting on him, he must believe that. The company did him a favor, now he is ready to receive a better job, had he still been there, he would not have been in a position to accept this position.

If the both of you believe, and claim a better, permanent job for him, it will happen.

Best of luck to you.

Hi

The best thing you can do is be there for him and be supportive . Encourage him to look for another job without pressure and listen to him when he wants to vent .

Applaud him for his efforts and tell him to never give up . Being there is the most important thing you can do for him right now .

Good Luck I pray that everything works out for your family .

Just be supportive and encourage him to keep looking. Unfortuantely it is VERY common for companies to do what they did to your bf - they let the temp go right before they are going to have to hire them and start paying benefits.

Just be there to listen when he vents. Offer your support, and don't talk down to him.
