AKC won't register litters if the dog is under 8 months. The female should be 2 years old. Also make sure they have a clear bill of health from your vet..

It is very hard on a animal when people breed them to young she is still a puppy , a person ( a good reputable breeder) will atleast wait until the puppy is 2yrs old which is when it is fully mature and has had more than one heat cycle. you are supose to weight atleast 2-3 heat cycles before breeding. im not going to condem you for wanting to breed your dog but atleast wait until she is fully mature. good luck!!
