Tell him to leave u alone....if you really fancy the other guy...what's the point of playing around w/ his mate? Think of what U want...A 1-night-stand, or a real relationship? I'd go for the 2nd solution...6 weeks is nothing if he's The One!

he's not a very good mate if the man you like is your b/f? but he isn't your b/f, then you're free to flirt/date etc with whom you wish, esp if this man you fancy like crazy hasn't noticed you!
does he know you like him? have you dated before?
if you are single, and you like this mate, see if he shows interest when you next meet, talk to him and find out his motives 1st
