I'm looking at Tapas in Chicago and Cannot decide between Cafe Iberico and Sangria Tapas Bar. Has anyone been to either of these places? The late night party at Sangria looks fun, but we are not Latin. Will we feel out of place there? Thanks!

I would go with Iberico without a doubt. I have been to Iberico, Sangria, and Babareeba in Lincoln Park. Iberico has the best food by far and I think it is probably the cheapest of all 3 by a slim margin.
Sangria has many differnent flavors of sangria to try but I still think Iberico has the best (made with either white or red wine). Although I have never been to the party at Sangria before. If you want a lively atmosphere (not necessarily dancing) then go to Iberico later in the night on a Fri. or Sat. around 8 although you will have to wait. If you do not want a wait then head over around 5-6pm.

I've always had a good time at Iberico and at Ba-ba Reeba up in Lincoln Park. Sangria was so-so.

Sangria's food is excellent. I went there with a group of 10 girls and had so much fun. None of us are Latin, but it doesn't matter. You could also try Cafe Ba-ba-reeba on Halstead. Their menu is a little bigger than the one at Sangria, and the food is also excellent.
