When I try downloading any new software from the web, I keep getting an error message that reads "Another installation is in progress. You must first wait for that application to finish before installing this one."

This keeps happening, no matter what I try to install. Virus check and ad-aware check on system don't help. Any ideas?

somewhere along the line you have started a download that did not finnish there for it is blocking other downloads, go into the download manager and clear all your downloads.. and then start again.

if your using limewire or any Pc2Pc software and your downloads are illegal watch out... the copy right people are on the march,,, they have caught 70,000 people I was reading that news last weekend
