When people finally become civilised, you can start counting.

To really get a number on that you are going to have to define "civilization" because there are cave drawings that are in the 100,000 year range. If you were to count Neanderthal villages, then much older. You would also need to define "recorded" as do you want writing from them indicating a date, or just that they were found and dated.

Egypt has roots tracing back about 8000 years, and in general that would be the oldest. There are some finds that may be older (10,000 years) that have complex buildings but they are very controversial.

Sumer was one of the early civilizations of the Ancient Near East, located in the southern part of Mesopotamia (southeastern Iraq) from the time of the earliest records in the mid 4th millennium BC until the rise of Babylonia in the late 3rd millennium BC. The term "Sumerian" applies to all speakers of the Sumerian language. Sumer together with Ancient Egypt and the Indus Valley Civilization is considered the first settled society in the world to have manifested all the features needed to qualify fully as a "civilization".

Thats gonna be really tough to answer. The dates claimed by those who hold differing theories are assumed.
The "Elba Tablets, and the Kings List" , both Sumerian are believed to be from the mid to late 3rd millennium B.C. are the oldest records whose dates are not disputed (with support). So, the oldest accepted written records are about 5,500 years old. There are some with older dates, but they are highly disputed.
