A few nights ago I went to a very well known neighborhood bar to chat w/some friends & have a stella or two. I only had TWO beers & while this is nothing to brag about, I have the tolerance of a sailor. I usually drink straight liquor all night with no probs, but was taking it light that night. I was talking to a guy I've seen there a few times, and after that everything is a blur. At some point I spoke to my bf & told him where I was, he came & got me, I lost my wallet & $120, my boyfriend said that I was saying all sorts of vile disgusting things to him completely belittling him in front of strangers, I acted a complete fool, & don't even remember ANY of it. The next thing I remember is waking up in my bed next to my bf. The even worse part is now my bf thinks that subconsciously I really think the things I said to him. My bf said during the night I appeared alert, my eyes were bright, & no slurring & I also woke up with no hangover but slept for 12hrs ..what happened?

It was not GHB. That is a knock out drug.
I am unaware of any drug that would cause a laps in memory while remaining fully conscience and fully alert.

It sounds like it was some sort of drug like the date rape drug. I have a friend that just went through something very similar. Luckily she doesn't remember anything either. Things for her went further than they should have. Her husband walked in on it and she still has no idea. Lucky for you all you lost was your wallet and money. Just try to be more careful and try to talk to the bartender at the bar and let them know about what happened and who it was. If they can keep an eye on him it will be safer for everyone.

Yup, most definately could have been. I've picked up a girl who'd been given GHB and she was acting much like you did (I'm a paramedic...that's what I mean by 'picked up' a girl-a 911 call)
Effects: Intoxication, increased energy, happiness, talking, desire to socialize, feeling affectionate and playful, mild disinhibition, sensuality, enhanced sexual experience, muscle relaxation, loss of coordination due to loss of muscle tone, possible nausea, difficulty concentrating, loss of gag reflex.
Many people have bad reactions. These can include nausea, headaches, drowsiness, dizziness, amnesia, vomiting, loss of muscle control, respiratory problems, loss of consciousness, being conscious but unable to move, and death- Especially when combined with alcohol or other drugs.

sounds like you were slipped something! where was the boyfriend??? you sure don't need to hang with friends like that. you could go get your blood drawn and have them check it out for you. then I would make a police report and let them know who you suspect, you may have been a Guinna pig for them and next time they could rape someone. you also may have hit your alcohol limit and had what people call black-outs which people claim not to remember anything about the night before, now is the time to take control over your drinking before you get behind a wheel of a car and not remember driving and you kill someone or kill yourself.

Yeah, it could have been the date rape drug.. This happened two nights ago well then you should go get a drug test and see what comes up cause the date rape drug stays in your system for no more than 4days.. So ii would go do that..

If you only had 2 beers something is not right. It is very possible that somebody slipped something into your drink. I used to be a bartender and I have known of this happening many times.

could be, cover your drink when you are talking to people close to you, dont leave your drink anywhere, you know, the normal common sense stuff....
