How do you tell your Bf, you want him to call more? I fully believe that a guy will call b/c he wants to call. But we have been together for about 3 mths and we usually go a few days and call each other every day, then sometimes we go two days and since he has been on spring break, three days. I would like him to call more b.c duh he's my bf and i love talking to him. I have told him that but it didn't make much of a difference. also, I wanted to try the positive reinforcement approach first. So, what else can I do. I don't want to nag him but I do want us to talk to each other more. The three day stints are tough.

This advice will get you results not right away, but it will. Do the opposite, and that is find other things to get you busy and stop waiting for him to call you. If you act as if your whole happiness depends on his call, then you will surely eventually push him away. Women lose that allure they had when their guy first pursued them when they begin to act too needy. You will entice him towards you if you do not need him so much. What you are saying to him is this, "please call me, I cannot stand it when you do not call me, I live for your calls", can you see how needy this sounds. He is your boyfriend, but this does not mean you own him. If you act as if you do you will lose him. Best of luck to you!

Do you really want him to call you more often JUST because you have told him to? Wouldn't you rather that he calls you when he wants to... the calls would mean so much more.
Guys aren't really into big long chats on the phone... that's more something girls do with their friends.
Just because he doesn't call you doesn't mean he isn't thinking of you. He just isn't a 'phonecall' kinda guy!!
Don't pester him to call more because it makes you appear a little clingy, and the calls wouldn't be because he WANTS to talk, but rather because he feels he HAS to!
I'm sure he still thinks of you heaps anyway.

listen, u want to let him talk to u more so do shahrazad's plane it is easy call him amd begin to tell him any news about u and then pretend that u have to go and u talk to him later. don't talk than he will call and if he asked u just say that u were busy with i don't know maybe your homeworks or u're little brother was sick any excuse and let him talk to u but u don't cause when u do u let him feel relax that u don't have anything but talking to him.

And if he refused to call more, then what? Since you have this gigantic need to talk, why can't you just call him? If he's not into talking on the phone you need to respect his needs too. Or is it always about your needs and what you want?

Tell him you miss him so much, the seconds turn to hours and the hours turn into nights until you hear his voice.
Guys don't get why it's so important to us that they call on the regular. Sometimes, we just have to remind them.

Tell him if he really cares for you he would call you more...Ask him if he wants to end the relationship because you seem more serious then he is...he may just turn around, but this will answer a lot of your questions...

as a man I like to feel needed you cant call all the time cause women get smothered...when you want to talk call him its just that easy and communicate how you would like it reciprocated..that easy communication is key

well, it's a trend i've learnt to accept already...
my current bf calls me every night after he knocks off and text me whenever he has time to press his phone buttons when he was still courting me....
after we got together, he nv called me unless it's needed... but only text me when he felt like it.
now?
he nv text me.... i have to call him and text him when i wanna talk to him.... and most of the time, he's occupied with his tv, his newspaper, his book, his WADEVA....
