Do some research- The myth goes something like this:
Satan was one of the most beautiful and powerful of all the angels, and the love between god and himself was very great. But Satan believed that humans were not worthy to be entrusted with the stewardship of creation, and when plans were announced, he rebelled, and was cast out of heaven, along with his homies. Since then, he has busied himself with proving why humans are not worthy, testing us, showing how corruptible we are, and so on. According to the story, everything he does is for the love of god.
If believe in that sort of thing. Anyway, the old & new testaments are full of contradictory, incomplete and vague information, I'm sure you can extract whatever meaning you want to, like everybody else.

Satan fears God, and since he is the opposite of God, I would say yes, Satan hates God.

He made choices to defy all that God stands for...jealous of God's plan. Why would Satan(formally Lucifer) love God when he chose to view loving authority as hatred? Believer's know the difference between one who leads with God's love vs those who have chosen to succumb to deciet that, for a short time, masks itself as a friend.

He can't hate god cause he can't create anything on his own. He needs god to provide him substance for him to manipulate. If he hates anyone, he hates dreamers. He hates us. He hates us cause we're ignorant, but also because we get to bask in the bliss of unknowing. Where he knows all (on the physical) and has to suffer through the darkness for all his days.
Cause dreamers don't appreciate zhit. They just eat and eat until they kill themselves and then blame the devil. That's why he hates us. Cause he has to look after us and we keep treating him like zhit.
I think that's why he keeps torturing us...

The poor guy lost the war. After that the winner exiled him. Enough to make anyone bitter. I find it hard to admire one god over another because he lost a batle for power.
Read Milton's Paradise Lost for a fascinating concept of Lucifer!

He loves to spite God. He does evil in God's creation. He is jealous of God, but he is submissive to God. Jesus cast out the Gerasene Demoniac, the legion of demons didn't he?

You can not have one without the other - like 2 sides of a coin - How can you fathom god without the opposite? They are really one in the same.

He doesn't hate us, he wanted to take the blinders off of our eyes. God made us stupid and unable to know what good or evil is, then when we acted against his will he sentenced us to death and he says he loves us? Satan was doing us all a favor.
